McAlee 379 ('Judaea Capta' issues). Prieur 140 (Tyre or Judaea Capta). RPC II 1967 (Caesarea Maritima). Sharply struck and amongst the finest known examples, a beautiful coin with an incredibly attractive portrait. This magnificent portrait of the victorious conqueror of Jerusalem, Titus, was minted in the months immediately following the fall of the Jewish capital on 8 September 70 CE.
